ccmux Privacy Policy

ccmux is a terminal companion app. We collect only the information needed to provide authentication, device registration, subscription access, and secure remote terminal session coordination.

Information We Collect

Account identifiers such as email address and linked sign-in provider IDs.
Device registration data needed to route sessions and push notifications.
Subscription status and purchase identifiers needed to provide paid plans.
Non-content service health logs used to keep the service reliable and secure.

Terminal Content

ccmux transports terminal session data between your registered desktop agent and mobile client. The hosted service may keep short-lived terminal scrollback for session replay and reliability. We do not use terminal content for analytics or advertising, and we do not sell terminal content.

Payments

Mobile subscriptions may be processed by Apple App Store In-App Purchase or Google Play's billing system, depending on the platform where you subscribe. Website and desktop billing may be processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, and purchase identifiers so ccmux can enable the correct plan.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate ccmux, process authentication, deliver notifications, and maintain the hosted backend.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Account → Delete account, or request deletion from the web at Delete Your ccmux Account. Deleting your account removes your ccmux account records, registered devices, terminal session records, refresh tokens, and push notification tokens from the hosted service. Some billing, security, and operational records may be retained only when required for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, or service-security purposes.
